The Garden Art Studio

How can we help you? The Garden Art Studio is a design/build company, which over many years has created over 250 designs and over a hundred installations both in Poland and abroad. The studio employs both Garden Designers and Landscape Architects, very passionate about their work, full of amazing ideas, but most importantly with very thorough experience. Every project is always evaluated individually. We offer any scale residential garden design, commercial properties as well as public spaces. The style we handle depends on architecture of the property both classical and modern. We try to come up with the best design solution for your property and bring your dream garden to reality.

Our team consist of experienced horticulturalists, masons, irrigation technicians as well as exterior lighting specialists. Our installations are done to the highest standard of the English Gardens, one of our specialties, which we studied and apprenticed in over many years.

Agnieszka Hubeny-Żukowska

Garden Designer, World-Traveler, Journalist and Artist. Designer of over 250 gardens both in Poland and abroad. Her knowledge and experience comes from working closely with such authorities like John Brookes, Diarmuid Gavin or Piet Oudolf, both in Poland, Great Britain and USA.

She is a member of SITO NOT and the National Association of Gardens Creators. Higher education (Shaping the Landscape) graduated from the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, also studied landscape architecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She has numerous certificates and diplomas, including BTEC National Diploma, Horticulture and Certificate City & Guilds Garden Design and City & Guilds National Vocational Qualification – Nursery level 2.

She has the title of ‘Host of Green Area’ and ‘Supervision Inspector in the greenery in urban areas’. From year 2002 an expert Main Technical Organization in the construction and maintenance of green areas.

The experience gained in Poland, the US and the UK. Among other things, she gained professional skills in UK with John Brookes in Denmans Garden, in manor house Titsey Place, private estate Edenbridge House, Hever Castle – the castle of Henry VIII, Waddesdon Manor, The Rothschild Collection and as an assistant in horticulture Clifton Nurseries Limited.

She is the author of photos and articles about gardening in many publications for example for magazines: “The World of Residences, Interiors and Gardens” where she has regular columns; “Residences”; “Living Room and Bedroom.” Her output was also presented in the album “Polish landscape architects present” and the book “Gardens. Projects Polish landscape architects. ” Realization of her projects were repeatedly shown in the TV program ‘Maya in the Garden” TVN. She was also invited by Polish National Television TVP 1 to the live program: “Number one in the gardens. ”

For her unique designs Agnieszka Hubeny-Żukowaska won many awards worldwide including:

2011 – honors SLANT GARDEN DESIGN AWARD, 2011.
2009 – second prize Tiananmen Square Landscape Architecture Competition in Beijing, China
She has developed a unique, characteristic of her style, combining naturalistic sets of plants with even the most modern and avant-garde elements. In addition to the visual aspect of projects for designer, practicality, maintenance and comfort of the space are also extremely important.

Our projects gain recognition not only among our clients. Our gardens have been presented on television several times. A few times in our gardens we have hosted the program “Maya in the garden”.
